August Wrap Up

August is an exciting time seeing the return of the sunshine in our part of the world!

Our Home education life has been quite full again this month. So we certainly have the challenge of refining our choices around events, come Spring!

Here’s our top pics from the month & a wrap up of all resources used and activities we took part in.

Listen to this month’s Podcast Episode 40!

Excursions:

Our Local Homeschooling Collective ~ Dindi Wild + Free Co gathered in the woods for a fun day out learning all about Fire Starting & Safety in the wilderness.

This was a lot of fun for all of us. The children got to play games, climb trees and start a fire together as a team, cook and share a bbq.

It was lovely to see the team work! We must say it was one of this month’s highlights, along with our weekly homeschool get togethers with friends!

We also had a Wildschooling Waterfalls adventure with our Wild + Free Co on Snake safety ~ which was a blast!

Another event we had was an Award winning Author talk with Vikki Conley at our town hall as well… with the local schools for a read aloud and some puppet play!
