July Wrap Up

So as our eldest daughter turned 10, we had a big month! We celebrated (just), as we weren’t feeling the best, having been taking turns having colds in the family. But, we managed cake and a special celebration all the same. We went to a live performance of Beauty and The Beast, which was a special time together, surprising her (with a few clues along the way, Thanks Matt:).

This month, Miss 6 has taken off with her independent reading enthusiasm! It’s been like watching a budding flower bloom! Lessons continued daily through the week with lots of walking with the Puppy and the usual once or twice weekly homeschooling gathers.

Other than that, the girls have spent a great deal of time inside and out in their usual play together or art creating. For reading and everything else… I’ve kept a somewhat consistent note log to share. As I have been continuing on my own personal educational journey that never ends… I’ve slowed right down on the Podcast front… but I’m sure when the inspiration arises… you’ll be hearing my voice again soon.

For now, I hope you enjoy this little window into our Home education life. Thank you for reading:)
